Tinubu Sparks Reactions As APC Flagbearer Leaves Minna Rally Early

The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, sparked mixed reactions on social media following his abrupt departure from Niger State.

Naija News understands some earlier reports claimed the APC flagbearer was rushed off the APC campaign rally in Minna because of health concerns.

However, a statement signed by the Director, Media, and Publicity of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga, debunked trending stories that Tinubu left the rally because of ill health.

While debunking any health challenge, Onanuga said Tinubu had to cut short his stay at the stadium in order to be able to attend other programmes lined up for the day.

He added that the crowd that welcomed Tnubu to the state was so huge that he spoke briefly to appreciate the supporters and identified the party candidates seeking elective positions.

Following the development, some Nigerians took to social media to react to Tinubu’s early departure from the campaign ground and the excuse given by the APC campaign council.
