APC To Hold Presidential Campaign Rally In Oyo, Rivers

Some leaders and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday attended the party’s Presidential campaign rally for the North West region.

Naija News reports that the rally was held at the 5-thousand-capacity main bowl of the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna, the state capital.

Security in the stadium was tight as party supporters were searched before entering due to the security situation in the state and the North West in general.

The rally was also for the Governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives, and State Assembly candidates in the state and in the region.

However, some top APC leaders and chieftains were at the event to solicit votes for the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Present at the rally included the APC flagbearer, Bola Tinubu; his running mate, Kashim Shettima; APC National Chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu; Senate President, Ahmad Lawan; the Director-General of the APC Campaign Council and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, and the host governor, Abubakar Sanni Bello.

Also at the event were Governors Babagana Zulum (Borno); Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna); Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano); Abubakar Badaru (Jigawa); Atiku Bagudu (Kebbi); Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa); Aminu Bello Masari( Katsina) and Bello Mattawalle (Zamfara).

Also at the rally were the Minister of Sports Development, Sunday Dare; APC National Women Leader, Betta Edu; former Director General of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Hadiza Bala Usman, APC Senators and members of the House of Representatives.

APC Guber Candidate in Niger state, Mohammed Umar Bago; Deputy Governor of Kogi State, Edward Onoja; APC campaign council Secretary, James Faleke; APC Kaduna governorship candidate Senator Uba Sani; former House of Representatives Speaker; Dimeji Bankole; Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah, were also present at the rally.
