Following Ronaldo's contract termination, Man United co-owner speaks out

Manchester United co-owner, Avram Glazer, has wished Cristiano Ronaldo well in his future endeavours following an early departure from Old Trafford.

The American businessman addressed the public for the first time since the Portuguese star’s contract was mutually terminated by the team and the player.

The Glazers family, the club’s owners, were reportedly moved by their famous number seven’s comments in which he said that Glazers just care about their own money and had no regard for the team.

The forward also had harsh words for the coach, Erik Ten Hag, whom he stated he has no respect for.

Instead of condemning the Portuguese, the American billionaire praised Ronaldo’s history with the club and his contributions to it while also wishing him well in the future.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner who was speaking to Sky News from Florida, ignored comments on Ronaldo’s departure and gave an admiration for his contributions to the team.

“Well, I’ll tell you about Cristiano Ronaldo – he’s a great Manchester United player, I appreciate everything he’s done for the club. I wish Ronaldo the best of luck in the future,” he said.

Currently competing for Portugal in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Ronaldo is hoping to bring his nation to the top.

Ghana, an African country, will face Portugal in Group H later today.
