Ronaldo claims that the United youngsters lack enthusiasm, burning more bridges.

Manchester United outcast, Cristiano Ronaldo, has criticized his younger Manchester United teammates.

The Portuguese star made a harsh criticism of the team and the manager Erik ten Hag in an explosive interview which has exposed severed ties with the other players.

The team believes that finding a means to sell Ronaldo while he is at the World Cup and preventing the 37-year-old star of Portugal from returning to Old Trafford would be preferable.

After the first interview with Piers Morgan, which aired on Wednesday night, in which he criticised the conduct of Manchester United’s young players and claimed that only his Portugal teammate Diogo Dalot is destined for a lengthy career at the top, the atmosphere is unlikely to have improved.

In the second part of the interview, he said, “Their hunger [is different]. I think they have things more easily, everything’s easy, they don’t suffer – and they don’t care,”

“If you tell me what I see in Manchester United, I can mention probably Diogo Dalot. He’s young but he’s very professional and I have no doubts that he’s going to have longevity in football.

“We have a few ones more – probably (Lisandro) Martinez – but like Dalot it’s difficult to say.”

Ronaldo is doubtful for Thursday’s World Cup preliminaries match against Nigeria due to sickness.

He skipped Portugal’s Wednesday training session in Lisbon owing to a stomach bug.
