Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly called Mr Ibu, is currently trending on the microblogging platform, Twitter after he stormed the rally of Labour Party (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in Jos.

Naija News recalls that in 2021, Mr Ibu during a conference meeting with the theme, ‘South West Stands with Bola Tinubu’ openly endorsed the former Governor of Lagos, saying he has really impacted many people.

However, the comic actor surprised many Nigerians when he turned up for the campaign rally of Obi in Plateau State, today.

Some of the videos shared online captured the moment Mr Ibu was called on stage as he prayed for the supporters of LP.

Many Nigerians reacted to the video saying the actor has allegedly collected money for the All Progressives Congress (APC) but has decided to follow his heart.

@itzz_blitz1 WROTE: “Remembered when we told y’all on this app that those celebrities endorsing agbado are only interested in his money? Mr ibu been one of them attended Peter Obi’s campaign today in jos. Nigerians will show these politicians shege in 2023.”
