Reactions As Accord Presidential Candidate Kneels Before Obasanjo For Prayers

Reactions have trailed the meeting between the presidential candidate of the Accord Party (AP), Christoper Imumolen and former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Naija News earlier reported that Imumolen met with Obasanjo at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital.

Speaking on his visit, Imumolen said he visited the former President to get prayers and counsel from his wealth of knowledge.

He acknowledged that Obasanjo prayed and counselled him during the visit, adding that he would use the knowledge to direct Nigeria.

The Accord presidential candidate also presented a plaque to Obasanjo, with the inscription ‘the labours of our heroes past shall never be in vain’ on it.

He said the plaque was a token of appreciation for the leadership sacrifices through time by the former president.

However, some netizens have taken to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to express their views regarding the matter.

Below are some of the reactions.
