2023: Sowore Appoints Campaign Spokesperson
Onyinye-Gandhi Chukwunyere

The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore has announced the appointment of Onyinye-Gandhi Chukwunyere as his campaign spokesperson.

The appointment was made public in a statement on Wednesday by Mary Abosede Ojo, on behalf of the campaign council.

Naija News understands the appointment is with immediate effect.

“Mr. Chukwunyere is a lawyer, policy analyst, public and international affairs commentator, and a social crusader,” the statement noted.

“He is from Ekwereazu, in Ahiazu Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo state. The appointment is effective immediately.”

Sowore is hoping to defeat the likes of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Bola Tinubu, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Atiku Abubakar, as well as Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi and others for a chance to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

I Didn’t Endorse Peter Obi – Ghana President

The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has denied the trending news that he has asked the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to step down for the Labour Party (LP) candidate, Peter Obi.

Akufo-Addo in a statement on Tuesday described the reports in which he was quoted to have told Tinubu to step down from the 2023 presidential race in Nigeria as totally false.

Naija News understands the Ghanaian President was quoted to have cited health reasons for his recommendation for Tinubu to withdraw from the race and support Peter Obi.

However, he has come out to debunk the report, describing it as total falsehood and mischievous, adding that it is not in his place to interfere in the internal affairs and politics of Nigeria.
