The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi on Sunday held a meeting with former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.
Naija News reports the meeting was held at the residence of Fayose in Lagos State.
Though the details of their discussion have not been made public yet, it is believed to be in line with the presidential ambition of the former Governor of Anambra State, Obi.
The meeting was confirmed by an ally of Fayose, Lere Olayinka who took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter to share pictures of the meeting between the LP candidate and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain.
Sharing the pictures on his handle, Olayinka wrote: “Labour Party Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi visits former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose in his Lagos residence today.”

Obi in a statement on Sunday appreciated all his loyalists and supporters across the nation, assuring that the labour will not be in vain.
Naija News reports the presidential candidate stated this while reacting to the one-million-man march recently organized by his supporters in Nasarawa State.
He described the march as a great step in “taking back our country.”
