Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen has showered accolades on late Rashidi Yekini despite scoring four goals against Sao Tome.

Speaking after the game, Osimhen appreciated comparing him with the late Rashidi Yekini but noted that he will remain the best Super Eagles striker.

He said, “Even if I surpass the goals tally of Rashidi Yekini, I believe he is the best striker Super Eagles ever had.”

He also emphasizes the need to continue to score for the team and help the team.

“I want to continue scoring and helping the team and focus on the objectives we’ve set for ourselves,” he added.

He failed to comment on his club’s future as he noted that he’s going home to enjoy the holidays with his family.
