Missing Benue Singer Found Dead

The body of a popular singer in Benue State, Terungwa Albert Ikon, aka ‘Ortrees, was on Sunday found dead within the North Bank area of Makurdi after several weeks of him going missing.

The deceased according to reports, allegedly went missing on Wednesday, April 23, 2022 and was found dead on Sunday 5th June, a source disclosed to newsmen on Tuesday.

According to the source, the singer and dancer left his elder brother’s house for their family house in the North Bank area of Makurdi before he went missing.

The source who did not want to be mentioned said, “He was never seen again until his body was found dumped near a river on Sunday, June 5, 2022”.

Police public relations officer for Benue State Command, Catherine Anene who confirmed the report to Naija News, said, the singer was found dead on Sunday near a river in the North Bank area of Makurdi in Benue State.
