Shehu Sani Reacts After Tinubu Claims He Handed The Presidency To Buhari In 2015

Former lawmaker representing Kaduna central senatorial district , Shehu Sani has reacted to Bola Tinubu’s claims that without him President Muhammadu Buhari would not have secured the presidential seat in 2015.

Recall that Naija News earlier reported that during a meeting with that All Progressives Congress, APC, delegates in Abeokuta Tinubu had revealed that he had played a crucial role in Buhari obtaining power in 2015.

He also claimed that he extended the same favors to Yemi Osinbanjo as the Vice-president and Dapo Abiodun as the Governor of Ogun state.

Reacting to Tinubu’s statement via Twitter, Sani confirmed that indeed the former governor served as a great help to President Buhari.

However, he maintained that politics does not respect history.

His words: “Actually Jagaban has played a leading role in the emergence and victory of PMB in 2015, but politics doesn’t always respect or appreciate history”.
