Oby Ezekwesili Gives Reason For Kaduna Train Attack

A former Minister of Education, Oby Ezekwesili, has said that the bombing of the Kaduna-bound train happened because of those ruling Nigeria.

Gunmen had bombed the Abuja-Kaduna train between Katari and Rigina axis on Monday night.

The attack had led to the death of several passengers with some still missing.

Reports have it that some of the victims were initially kidnapped including Zamfara State’s former Deputy Governor, Mallam Ibrahim Wakkala Liman, during the deadly attack.

Reacting to the incident, Ezekwesili noted via Twitter that Nigeria’s political class has zero value for the life of its citizens.

“Nigeria has a super callous political class that: places zero value on the lives of their citizens, and have succeeded in making even the long-suffering citizens soulless to the point of placing zero value on the lives of their fellow citizens.”

“May God comfort the families of Chinelo and other victims of the terrorist attack of Kaduna bound train.

“It is the greatest tragedy of life to be ruled by a political class that places zero value on life.

“Someday, Citizens will eventually understand this and collectively act.”
