Bamise's Father Breaks Silence On His Daughter's Death

The video has emerged online of the moment Oluwabamise Ayanwole recorded and sent a video of herself in the Lagos BRT vehicle before she was killed.

Perhaps having a premonition that something bad was about to happen, the late fashion designer recorded herself on Saturday while on the bus and sent it to someone close to her.

She captured the bus number and the driver’s head in the video but instructed the person not to make the video public yet in case nothing bad eventually happens so those close to her won’t use her ‘fears’ to mock her.

Naija News reports despite all the precautions, the young lady was eventually murdered and her lifeless body found on the roadside.

As earlier reported by this online platform, the 22-year-old lady, Oluwabamise Ayanwola, who was declared missing after boarding a Lagos Bus Rapid Transit BRT vehicle, has been found dead as disclosed by one of the deceased relatives on Monday, March 7, 2022.

“We are at the morgue. We have confirmed the corpse,” the relative said in an emotional-laden voice.

It was gathered that the victim, before the unfortunate incident, worked as a Fashion Designer Place at Chevron Estate, Ajah, and spends weekends at Ota, Ogun State, with her sister.

Ayanwola on Saturday was returning to Ota from Ajah when she boarded a BRT bus with number 240257 going to Oshodi at about 7 p.m. at Chevron Bus-Stop.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State police command has arrested the driver of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), who drove Oluwabamise Ayanwole who was murdered.

The development was confirmed by the spokesman of the state police command, Adekunle Ajisebutu on Monday.

Ajisebutu noted that the remains of the deceased were dumped on the Carter Bridge by Ogogoro Community by her abductors.
