Bandit terrorists have kidnapped five persons during an attack on Nasarawa Kaita community in Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State on Tuesday.

It was learned that the terrorists invaded the village through the Gusau-Magami-Dansadau road and killed a resident who was driving to his residence.

Speaking with HumAngle, a member of the local vigilante, Lawal Zonai, said the terrorists kidnapped three men and two women during the attack.

He added that the terrorists demanded a ransom, which they received in part before releasing two men and two women and keeping the other man in captivity.

Meanwhile, an unidentified security operative has been abducted in a fresh gunmen attack in Kaduna State.

The attack according to reports obtained by Naija News happened on Wednesday morning.

The gunmen are said to have invaded the Rigachikun community of Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State around 1 am today and abducted no fewer than four residents.

It was learned that the gunmen invaded the community close to Kasan Dam shooting sporadically on Wednesday morning without any confrontation.

A housewife, who pleaded for anonymity, said one of the victims is her husband’s friend.

We couldn’t sleep due to gun sound that lasted for minutes. Four people were abducted, including a security operative, who lives with us in the community,” she said.
