According to The PUNCH, Medical experts on Monday warned that Nigeria risked travel bans with Canada’s detection of Omicron variant of COVID-19 in two travellers from Nigeria.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) said, yesterday, that the Omicron coronavirus variant carried a very high risk of infection as more countries closed borders, casting a shadow over economic recovery from the two-year pandemic. The Guardian reports.
