Bandit Terrorists Gun Down Ex-Governorship Aspirant In Zamfara

Suspected bandit terrorists have killed a former governorship aspirant in Zamfara State, Sagir Hamidu.

Hamidu was killed by the terrorists on Sunday when the terrorists blocked the Kaduna-Abuja Highway and opened fire on travellers.

It was disclosed that terrorists killed the politician around 3:30 pm close to Rijana along the busy highway.

Eyewitnesses that spoke with Daily Trust on the development stated that the former FCT Director of Protocol who was also a Zamfara State Governorship aspirant was killed in the incident.

An eyewitness who released a video on Sunday evening showed two empty vehicles which had been abandoned in the middle of the Highway.

There are speculations that passengers of the two vehicles might have been abducted by the terrorists.

The person while speaking in the video said, “Oh my God, they have carried our friends, we are just coming from Kaduna. Today is 21st November 2021, oh my God, the Lord is faithful, thank you for saving our lives.”
