However, his last Bible verse was posted on Sunday, when he referenced the Psalms 27.
Psalm 27:2 states, “When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell”. Iseeee!!!”.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, on Tuesday, said Kanu has been arrested and returned back to the country.
Malami at a press conference with the State Security Service in Abuja, on Tuesday noted that the effort of Interpol and security agencies led to Kanu’s arrest and repatriation to Nigeria.
Kanu and his co-defendant are facing treasonable felony charges at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Kanu fled the country in September 2017 after an invasion of his home by the military in Afara-Ukwu, near Umuahia, Abia State.
