Adamu Garba Reacts As Court Sacks Adeleke As Osun Governor

Former Nigerian presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, has said he would have sued an American news-based pay television channel, Cable News Network, CNN if their recent investigative report about the Lekki Toll Gate shooting had instigated crisis between the government and its citizens.

According to the tech-inclined politician in a post on his Twitter account on Wednesday, November 18, CNN was only doing their job which is ‘investigative and not conclusive’.

Garba explained that CNN was professional in their report, unlike Jack (Twitter CEO), Jack Dorsey, who according to him interfered directly into the #LekkiMassacre incident.

He said: “I would have sued CNN if they instigated or sponsored people of Nigeria against its Govt. But one thing is clear. CNN is doing its job: Investigative & not “Conclusive” reporting.

“Unlike Jack who interfered directly. While you enjoy the fleet, wait for response from authorities”.
