Good day Nigeria, welcome to Naija News coverage of major stories across Nigeria today, Sunday, November 1, 2020.

The Lagos State Government led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has lifted the curfew imposed on the state

Naija News recalls that Governor Sanwo-Olu imposed a curfew on Lagos following the breakdown of law and order during the #EndSARS protests in the state.

However, the 12 a.m. to 4 a.m. curfew imposed by the Federal Government to curb the spread of COVID-19 remains.

Meanwhile, Mrs Ndubuisi Obiechina, a schoolteacher, has narrated how was arrested in 2017 and tortured by men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) till her then two-month-old pregnancy was aborted.

She disclosed this while testifying on Saturday before the retired Justice Doris Okuwobi-led Lagos State Panel of Judicial Inquiry into complaints of human rights violations by men of the disbanded SARS.
