#LekkiMassacre: Sanwo-Olu Makes U-Turn, Reveals Number Casualties

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has finally disclosed the number of death recorded in the Lekki tollgate shooting on Tuesday night.

The Lagos State Governor on Wednesday noted that one person died.

He had earlier stated that no life was lost during the shooting on Tuesday

Sanwo-Olu, however, disclosed that one person died due to “blunt force trauma”.

He noted that the case is been investigated to know if the deceased was a protester

Sanwo-Olu on his Twitter account wrote, “Information reaching us now is that a life was lost at Reddington Hospital due to blunt force trauma to the head. It is an unfortunate and very sad loss.”

“This is an isolated case. We are still investigating if he was a protester.”
