An old-aged woman who sells groundnut to feed her household was on Thursday, October 15 left in tears of joy at the Lekki Toll Gate after protesting youths reportedly gathered over five hundred thousand naira (N500,000) for her.

Naija News understands that the said amount was contributed by the #EndSARS protesters who gathered at the Lekki Toll Gate to seek for a total reform of the Nigeria Police Force and justice to victims of the SARS operatives.

Sharing details of the donations to the groundnut seller, a user of the microblogging site identified as Omo Iya Alamal [@sama_on_poin] tweeted; “Over N500,000 (FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA) was raised for this old woman by Nigerian Youths at the Lekki Toll Gate #ReformPoliceNG Protest ground. @ogujohnugo thanks a lot for the hefty donation”.
