Nasarawa Schools Get October 5 Resumption Date
The Nasarawa State government has directed primary and secondary schools in the state to resume on Monday, October 5, 2020.
The directive was handed down on behalf of the government by the state commissioner for education, Hajiya Fatu Sabo on Friday in Lafia, the state capital.
She said the government has approved school resumption after the forced COVID-19 break for all public and private schools in the state.
She said: “The resumption is for public and private schools.
“This followed the submission of a report by a committee set up by the state government comprising stakeholders to work out modalities for the safe reopening of schools.”
The commissioner added that the ministry is taking preventive measures ahead of the reopening of the schools, adding that full COVID-19 protocols will be in place for the resumption.
