Edo: APC Campaign Trail Attacked In Akoko-Edo

The All Progressives Congress governorship campaign trail in Edo State has been attacked in Ekpe community on their way to Ososo in Akoko-Edo Local government of the state.

Information gathered revealed that the opposition party had just finished their rally at Ekpedo ward 9 and heading to Ososo when they ran into an ambush in Ekpe community on Friday evening.

The thugs, who attacked the convoy of the governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, alongside his deputy, Gani Audu, and former APC National Chairman Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, hurled stones and other dangerous weapons, smashing vehicles in the process

They were, however, repelled by security forces attached to the campaign.
