A former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, Adams Oshiomhole, has quashed reports in some quarters alleging that he is plotting to return to the position.

Naija News reports that Oshiomhole made this comment on Monday while addressing State House Correspondents after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock Villa in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

Chinese Loan: Nigerians Will Be The Biggest Loser If Deal Is Cancelled – Amaechi

The House of Representatives has been informed by the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, that Nigerians would be the biggest loser if several loan agreements signed with China were cancelled due to the investigation carried out by the lower chamber.

Amaechi who appeared before the House Committee on Treaties, Protocols and Agreements on Monday, noted that the Chinese loan can not be subjected to endless probe.

Justice Ibrahim Sirajo, Chairman of the Bayelsa State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, on Monday, affirmed the election of Duoye Diri as the governor of Bayelsa State.

Justice Ibrahim Sirajo disagreed with the tribunal majority judgement which nullified Duoye Diri’s election.
