Renowned Nigerian singer and songwriter, Jeremiah Pam Gyang, better known as Jeremiah Gyang has announced that he lost his younger brother Tuesday night.

According to the record producer, his 18-year-old younger brother, Paul Gyang, gave up the ghost on July 21 following a brief illness.

Gyang, however, gives clarification that his teenage younger brother did not die of COVID-19 as many may have suspected.

Naija News understands that the singer confirmed the development on his social media account, Instagram precisely.

Expressing his sadness over the incident, the singer posted a photo with the caption; “I am bereaved. I just lost my younger brother Paul Gyang last night.”

“He just turned 18, and was briefly ill. It wasn’t COVID, Please pray for the comfort of the family.”
