Tinubu Gets Two Names Suggestion For CBN Gov, Emefiele's Replacement

A Nigerian actor and activist who goes by the name Prince on the microblogging site, Twitter, has described as hopeless the move by South-West to present former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as their candidate for 2023 presidential race.

Prince said it is wickedness and hopelessness for the Yorubas to present Tinubu as their only hope come 2023, noting that Lagos State roads are dilapidated despite the All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain’s leadership role in the state for 16 years.

According to him, how can the Yoruba people again present to Nigerians someone like the incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari?

The netizen tweeted, “If Tinubu is the only hope of the Yoruba nation in 2023, then I’m here to tell you that, that is a wicked and a useless hope. Over 16 years at the helms in Lagos yet Lagos has no good roads. Like how can you give Nigerians Tinubu after Buhari? Are you guys normal at all?”

Reacting to Prince’s tweet, another user identified as @PeterTony17 said Yoruba are confused people who never learn from the past. He challenged the South-West to throw their support for Omoyele Sowore, the publisher with Sahara Reporters.

He tweeted, “These Yoruba people are just confused, they don’t learn from history if they really have sense why not join your own brother Sowore in fighting for restructuring of Nigeria but no they prefer to allow the Fulanis to use and dumb them as they allow do smh..”

Meanwhile, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB)Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Friday took a swipe at the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu over recent happenings within the party.
