NCDC Reports 307 New Cases Of COVID-19

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed three hundred and seven new cases of Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.

The overall cases of the dreadful COVID-19 disease in Nigeria when summed with the new update is totalled 10162.

Getting the general public informed of developments with the viral disease, the NCDC on its official website and on its microblogging site account confirmed that a total of 3007 patients have been discharged of the dreaded disease while 287 confirmed dead.

Pastor Adeboye List 10 Things Christians Must Do During COVID-19 Lockdown

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has revealed what Christians must do during this COVID-19 lockdown.

Speaking during a sermon on Sunday on DOVE TV, Pastor Adeboye asked Christians to do things that will move them forward during the lockdown.

Pastor Adeboye revealed that David, Elijah and Joseph – biblical characters – experienced uplifting after lockdown.

The popular cleric asked Christians to rejoice, praise God and pray during the COVID-19 lockdown.

“There has never been a better time to pray because you have more time and less things to do,” he said.

COVID-19: President Buhari, Taskforce Meet On Coronavirus

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday met with members of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Naija News reports that the meeting is coming few hours to Monday when the second phase of the eased lockdown is set to expire.

The PTF is expected to brief President Buhari on moves made so far to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

Members of the panel who met with Buhari included the chairman, Boss Mustapha, who is also the Secretary to the Government of the Federation; the committee’s coordinator, Sani Aliyu; Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire; and the Director-General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu.
