Video: ‘Asking Your Members To Pay Tithe Is Criminal’ – Prophet Odumeje

Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere better known as Prophet Odumeje says pastors asking their “church members to pay tithe is criminal.”

Naija News reports that Prophet Odumeje, who is the Spiritual Director of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention Deliverance Ministry World Miracle Center, alias Land of Freedom, made this comment in an interview with a lady in a plane, which was published on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.

In the video sighted by Naija News, the controversial Anambra prophet said: “You can’t be a child of a rich God and be forcing members to pay you tithe”, adding that “I am serving a living God he will give me money not to be asking my church members to pay tithe.”

His words: “Jesus Christ said to Peter go to the riverside, you will see a fish waiting for you there. What did the fish give to him?

“The fish gave him money, so if I am serving a living God he will give me money not to be asking my church members to pay tithe, it’s criminal. I don’t ask anybody for tithe.

“God is a rich God. How did he make Solomon rich? What are you talking about?

“You can’t be a child of a rich God and be forcing members to pay you tithe. It has to be evident so that people can ask how you do it,” the controversial Anambra Prophet fondly called “The Lion, Indaboski or Liquid Metal” by his followers said.
