Special Adviser To Nasarawa State Governor Kidnapped By Gunmen

Suspected gunmen have kidnapped Mr. John Waje Mamman, the Special Adviser to Nasarawa State Governor on Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Community Development.

Naija News understands Mamman was kidnapped last Saturday night by gunmen in his house at Dari Town in Kokona Local Government Area of the state.

The senior government official was kidnapped in his house where he was with his friends and was whisked away by the gunmen who shot sporadically into the air to scare people away during the operation.

The eye witness further explained as reported by Daily Trust that one of the suspected kidnappers was apprehended by some youths in the community.

As at the time of filing this report, the suspected kidnappers are yet to make contact with the commissioner’s family or raise any demand.

However, when contacted, Police spokesman, ASP Ramhan Nansel said, “The state command has not been informed yet.”
