The founder and general overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Williams Folorunsho Kumuyi, on Thursday, organized a crusade despite the ban on religious gatherings by the government.

Recall that the Lagos government on Wednesday placed a ban on all religious gatherings involving over 50 worshippers following the outbreak of coronavirus in the country.

However, Deeper Life Ministries held a vigil titled ‘Power Night’ in a 30,000 capacity hall in Gbagada area of Lagos state.

Pastor Kumuyi during his message declared that there will be a total recovery in the world.

A doctor before the commencement of the program was spotted speaking on COVID-19 and steps to take to stay safe. He called on people to keep social distance as a precaution.

Meanwhile, RCCG and the Synagogue Church of All Nations, SCOAN, on Thursday cancelled its services and called on their members to obey the declaration of the government.

So far, Nigeria has recorded 12 positive cases after four were confirmed on Thursday.
