CBN’s Consultative Round Table Held Amidst Sanusi’s Trial

The  Central Bank of Nigeria(CBN) ‘Going for Growth’ Roundtable Session has kick-started with a visit of the Participants to President Muhammadu Buhari and the dinner at the State House Banquet Hall in Abuja.

Naija News recalls that the founder of Stanbic IBTC Bank Plc, Atedo Peterside, declined participation in the roundtable session as a protest to the dethronement and banishment of the former Kano Emir and fellow ex-banker, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.

Meanwhile, At the diner, the president assured the nation that his administration will pay close attention to the recommendations made by the participants.

The participants included officials of both public and private sectors such as businessman Aliko Dangote, CEO Zenith Bank, Mr Jim Ovia, among several others.
