Nigerians React As Aisha Buhari Fires Garba Shehu, Mamman Daura

The First Lady of Nigeria, Aisha Buhari on Wednesday tackled a key member of the President Muhammadu Buhari cabinet, and his nephew accusing them of attempting to usurp the President’s powers.

As previously reported by Naija News, Aisha in her statement, claimed that Mamman Daura gave a directive using presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu that the office of the first lady should be scrapped.

According to the First Lady, the directive was beyond the powers of both Daura and Shehu.

Following the public outburst, Nigerians have taken to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to express their opinions on the latest development coming from Nigeria’s seat of power.
