Just In: Kidnappers Free Abducted Appeal Court Judge

Kidnappers have freed Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme of the Benin Division of the Court of Appeal.

Naija News reports that gunmen had last week in Benin City, capital of Edo State, abducted Justice Chioma Nwosu-Iheme.

Her release was confirmed by the Commissioner of Police, Edo Command, Danmallam Mohammed.

CP Mohammed told Channels TV that the judge was rescued from kidnappers and has been reunited with her family.

Recalls that the Nigerian Bar Association, Benin branch, had last week embarked on a three-day boycott of all courts following her abduction.
