Senator Dino Melaye has taken another swipe at Yahaya Bello, Governor of Kogi State, stating that he is better than the Governor in all ramifications.

It will be recalled that the appeal court had sacked Melaye as the Senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly and ordered the conduct of a fresh election in the senatorial district.

Melaye, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will now slug it out at the polls with Smart Adeyemi of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to determine who represents Kogi West senatorial district.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has since fixed the election for November 16, same date as the governorship polls in the state.

However, a video which is now trending online shows Senator Melaye during a political campaign boasting that he is better than Governor Bello in all aspects.

Though Naija News couldn’t independently confirm the time of the campaign, it is believed to have happened when Melaye was still in contention for the PDP Governorship ticket for Kogi State.

He, however, lost out on the ticket to Musa Wada who will now fly the party’s governorship ticket in the 2019 governorship elections in Kogi state.

While addressing a crowd at a rally, Melaye who spoke in pidgin English, said he is better than the governor in many aspects, adding that he is more handsome, taller, educated and sexually active.

“I want to assure you the kind of development we have not seen before, salary payment is compulsory, paramount, mandatory and a must,” he said.

“You all know Yahaya Bello, there is nothing I don’t have more than him. Number one, I am taller than him. Number two, I am more handsome than him. Number three, I am more educated than him. And if it is ‘kere wa wa’, I can do better than him.”

This online medium reports “Kere wa” is a street slang which means sex.
