Sex-For-Grades: Police Invites Suspended UNILAG Lecturer

The lecturer at the University of Lagos, Dr Boniface Igbeneghu who was recently involved in sex-for-grades scandal has been invited by the Lagos State Police Command.

The command in a letter of invitation asked the suspended pastor at the Foursquare Gospel Church, to report at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Yaba, on October 23, 2019.

In the letter, signed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the SCIID, Yetunde Alonge, Igbeneghu was asked to report at D10 section.

The further report revealed that the lecturer was served the letter through the university management.

Alonge while speaking on the letter forwarded to the embattled lecturer noted that they are awaiting a responce and added that he is yet to show up.

Recall that Igbeneghu was caught in a video captured by an undercover journalist of BBC who had acted like a 17-year-old admission seeker

The former Foursquare pastor had admitted to the existence of a cold room in UNILAG where male lecturers had sexual relations with female students in exchange for good grades.
