UK States Position On Iran Attacks

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has denied the allegation that he deceived Queen Elizabeth on the purpose of suspending parliament for five weeks after a court ruled his decision to do so was unlawful.

Naija News recalls that the current five-week suspension began in the early hours of Tuesday, and MPs are not scheduled to return until 14 October.

Speaking on claims that he lied to QueenElizabeth, Johnson said that those claims were “absolutely not” true.

Naija News understands that Johnson has been widely criticized by opposition lawmakers for the move ahead of the Brexit deadline on October 31 when there is still no deal in place. The five-week suspension is also one of the longest shutdowns in decades.
