How Senator Shehu Sani Lost At Tribunal Today

The petition of Senator Shehu Sani of the People’s Redemption Party (PRP) has been dismissed by the National and State Assembly Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Kaduna, today.

In the petition, Sani had callenged the victory of the elected Kaduna Central Senator, Uba Sani of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking on the issue, chairman of the Tribunal, Justice A. H. Suleiman, opined that the petition lacked merit.

According to the Lead Counsel to Senator Uba Sani Barrister Frank Ikpe, the Tribunal upheld the election of the APC Senator based on the evidences before it.
