Elisha Abbo: Deji Adeyanju Leads Protesters To Police Headquarters

Popular activist Deji Adeyanju has led a group of other activists to the Police Headquarters in Abuja in protest against Adamawa Lawmaker, Elisha Abbo who was seen in a video, assaulting a lady in a sex toy shop.

Naija News had reported how a viral video showing the Senator slapping a woman, received the attention of a different group of individuals including Celebrities, Amnesty International, among others

Joining the streams of reactions, Comrade Adeyanju, via his twitter handle called on activists and concerned Nigerians to join the protest and subsequent submission of a petition to the Inspector General of Police.

“You can join us by 8am prompt tomorrow morning in solidarity as we submit a petition to the IGP against Senator Elisha Abbo.

“After delivering a petition to the IGP in the morning tomorrow by 8am, we will also deliver another petition to the leadership of the Senate on the violent attack by Senator Elisha Abbo on 2 women at a sex toy shop in Abuja,” Adeyanju had tweeted.

Meanwhile, the Embattled Senator has admitted that he is the one in the video, but added that it was sometimes in May before he was sworn in as Senator.
