Amnesty International Calls For Arrest Of Senator Abbo Over Assault Of Lady

The Nigeria Police Force has been charged by the Amnesty International to probe the Senator representing Adamawa North District in the National Assembly, Elisha Abbo, following the assault on a lady in a sex toy shop in Abuja.

In a video that was making round on Tuesday, the Senator was seen attacking the woman after pleading with him to take things easy with the shop owner.

The lawmaker had accused the owner of the sex toy shop of insulting him by calling him a drunk.

Amnesty International in its reaction called on the Nigerian government to make sure that the Senator is punished under the law.
