Boko Haram: Deji Adeyanju Fires Back After President Buhari’s Statement

Human rights activist, Comrade Deji Adeyanju has taken a swipe at President Muhammadu Buhari for alluding that his administration has defeated Boko Haram.

Adeyanju made his mind known in response to a claim by President Buhari during the Federal Executive Council’s valedictory service where he congratulated his ministers for being part of a “government that defeated Boko Haram.”

Taking to the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Thursday, Adeyanju said:

President Buhari during his valedictory speech to his ministers said they should be proud they served in a government that defeated Boko Haram.

Are you guys sure we are in the same country with these guys?

Naija News recalls despite sustained efforts by the government in tackling Boko Haram, the insurgents have still continued their onslaught with former President Olusegun Obasanjo also recently warning that the threat posed by the terrorists should not be taken lightly.
