Transfer: Meulensteen Warns Solskjaer Against Signing Bale

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been warned by former Manchester United Coach, Rene Meulensteen, against signing Real Madrid’s Gareth Bale.

In his statement, he claimed that the Reds would be taking a huge risk if they sign the Wales international because “it is difficult to see where he is at the moment” in terms of his fitness and form.

Upon the arrival of Zinedine Zidane as the manager at Real Madrid, the coach is eager to get rid of Bale which has been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

“You would obviously talk about bringing in a high-profile player in, but is Gareth Bale still at his best?”

“We all know he’s had his fair share of injuries, so it’s always a risk,” Meulensteen told talkSPORT.
