Spanish Champions, Barcelona Set To Sell Ten Players This Summer

According to Marca, La Liga champions, Barcelona will sell ten of their players during the summer transfer window to raise money for their big money transfers.

The Spanish champions are almost done sealing the deal with Ajax midfielder, Frenkie de Jong, a deal worth £67million.

Barcelona is looking at signing his teammate, Matthijs de Ligt, in a £65million deal.

With Antoine Griezmann’s announcement on Tuesday that he will leave Atletico Madrid at the end of the season by paying his release clause, £105million, there are possibilities that he could be on his way to Camp Nou.

However, the club does not have over £250million to spend during the transfer window, the only way the club can raise over £200million is to sell ten of its players.

Philippe Coutinho who has been having a tough time in the club after his move from Liverpool is up for £90million.

The arrival of De Ligt might see the club sell Samuel Umtiti.

Barca is ready to sell for £50million despite Umtiti having no intention of leaving.
