Kidnappers Releases Gov. Aminu Masari’s Mother-In-Law After 8 Days In Captivity

Katsina Police Command on Friday confirmed the release of Hajiya Hauwa Yusuf the mother-in-law to the Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari.

The mother of Binta, the wife of Katsina state Governor was released by the kidnappers after eight days in captivity.

Recall that Naija News had reported that Hauwa Yusuf was kidnapped at her residence, located at Dandume crescent in Katsina Layout of the metropolis.

The development was confirmed to Daily Trust by the Spokesman of the Katsina Police command, SP Gambo Isah.

The spokesman in his statement said, “I am very happy to inform you that the mother in- law of His Excellency, Aminu Masari, has been released by her abductors yesterday 14/03/2019 by 16:00hrs.”

“She is hale and hearty. She has already been reunited with her family after necessary medical check-ups.”

Isah said Hajiya Yusuf was released in good health and has since reunited with her family after necessary medical checkups.
