Lagos Collapsed Building: LASEMA Gives Update On Rescue Of Trapped Victims

Mr Adeshina Tiamiyu, General Manager of Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, has noted that there are no victims left under the debris of the building which collapsed yesterday at Massey Street, Ita-Faaji area of Lagos Island.

Tiamiyu made this known while speaking with newsmen at the site of the incident this morning.

Tiamiyu who said all casualties had been rescued further stressed that “We stopped work at 3: 00 a.m after recovering the lifeless body of a male and we are sure there is no casualty left under the debris”

He, however, said LASEMA cannot confirm the total figure of casualty rescued from the building, saying the ministry of health would release the accurate figure later in the day.
