Thugs Allegedly Invade Imo PDP Assembly Candidate's House

Today, March 9th, 2019, is the day Nigerians in some states will hand over the baton of leadership to their prefered Governorship and house of assembly candidates.

The people of Benue state have gone out in their numbers to vote for the candidate of their choice, with the state Governor, Samuel Ortom seeking for a second term in office under the Peoples Democratic Party.

The election at North Bank Area, Makurdi, Benue State have been disrupted by hoodlums after the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission intercepted bags of cash meant for vote-buying.

Following an attempt by the commission operatives to arrest the culprit, some thugs attacked them and
vandalised the bus used for patrol.

With this development in play, accreditation and voting processes have been brought to an abrupt end.
