Truth About 'Resignation Of 365 Soldiers' From Nigerian Army

A video showing some soldiers praying and worshipping God on the battlefield is currently trending on social media.

The soldiers who were up to 15, could be seen on their knees, clutched their rifles, and sang emotionally: “My song every day, father draw me nearer, draw me nearer, nearer to thee,” they sang a popular Christian song in unison.

The soldiers sang repeatedly, performed a Eucharistic celebration, a Christian rite that is considered a sacrament in Orthodox churches, Naija News understands.

One of them who acted as a Catholic priest raised up what looked like the communion.

The location of the troops is unknown and so also is the time when the video was recorded.
