Uganda football team has held the Super Eagles of Nigeria to a goalless draw in an international friendly match played on Tuesday, at the Stephen Keshi International Stadium in Asaba, Delta State.

With the like of Alex Iwobi, Ahmed Musa and Oghenekaro Etebo all starting against the Cranes, the green team was held from finding the back of the net.

It was the first game Rohr’s men were playing, after they booked their place in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, following a 1-1 draw with South Africa on Saturday.

Uganda have also qualified for the tournament, after beating Cape Verde 1-0 at the Nelson Mandela Stadium, Kampala.

The Cranes defeated the Super Eagles 1-0 the last time both teams met in a friendly match on March 25, 2015.
