Flood, Traffic Hit Lagos State After Early Morning Downpour

Some parts of Lagos were left flooded on earlier today after an  heavy downpour, left  motorists and Passengers  stranded, Naija News understands.

Most of the affected areas of the commercial city include Surulere, Aguda, Adelabu, Berger where major roads were filled with flood leading to traffic congestion.

Residents of Surulere, Aguda, woke up to flooded homes and streets which lasted for several hours. Cars were seen struggling to pull through the flood as workers struggle to get to their offices in the rain.

There was also heavy traffic in the Berger axis due to the flooded road as the drainage was blocked with plastic wastage. Motorists who braved the flood, did so at snail speed, as they were confronted with traffic gridlock.
