Real Madrid President Speaks On Ronaldo’s Departure

Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, could not get rid of journalists’ questions about Cristiano Ronaldo, on the sidelines of the ‘The Best’ awards gala.

The Portuguese did not attend the event, but received the praise of the leader of the meringues.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is a worthy successor to Di Stéfano and he is a player who is in our hearts and will one day return,” said Florentino Pérez. “If Cristiano were here, I would have embraced him.

As earlier reported by Naija News, Ronaldo came second in the list of the FIFA best player, behind Luka Modric, with Mohamed Salah completing the top 3.
