Super Eagles To Face Seychelles

Ahead of the Seychelles clash, the Super Eagles side will be without three key players, Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina and William Troost-Ekong will miss Nigeria’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier due to injury.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) confirmed this on the Super Eagles twitter handle (@NGSuperEagles) last night.

The Super Eagles face the Pirates on Saturday and an away victory will put the Super Eagles’ qualification chances back on track after a shaky start.

Aina suffered a muscular injury in Torino’s 1-0 victory over SPAL and was replaced in the 86th minute with Alex Berenguer taking his place.

Troost-Ekong got injured in Udinese’s 1-0 away defeat to Fiorentina albeit featuring for the entire duration at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

For Arsenal’s Iwobi, he was missing in the Gunners’ away victory over Cardiff City in the English topflight on Sunday and has been ruled out of the clash against the Pirates.
